WINTER PRESSURES

Lewisham CEPN organised a Winter Pressures event for all health and social care staff. Focusing this year on diabetes, respiratory, UTIs, dementia and alcohol dependence, presentations described what we can ALL notice in patients living with these conditions that might be indicative of a deterioration. If we know what to look for, and really SEE, we may be able to head off an exacerbation and potentially life-changing impacts on our most vulnerable patients during the winter period.
